A. So your new belt does not fit?

If you are reading this, chances are that you were given an awesome Fennell's personalized leather belt as a gift but unfortunately the size is not a good fit for you. Never fear! All is not lost. We are able to move the nameplate to a size that will fit you. 

B. How to properly measure an existing belt to find the right size for exchanging a belt...

Be sure to measure to the hole you are using. That may not be the center hole as is shown in the diagram above.

• Your best fitting hole should be obvious by the buckle mark on the belt.
• We find that the most accurate measurement is found by measuring a belt.
• DO NOT ask for the new belt to be sized for a certain size pants as that is not accurate.
• DO NOT tell us that your favorite belt is stamped a certain size on the back.
• The ONLY foolproof way to size for a belt is to measure an existing belt as described above.

C. What do I do next?

1. Follow the intructions under 'B' above to arrive at your correct size.

2. Draft a simple note to include your name, return address, phone, email and new belt size.

3. Pack the belt in the same box it came in or similar.

• Treat your return as something that will be resold as new.
• If you try on the belt "too hard", the creasing that results makes the belt tough to sell as new.
• Do not wind the belt up in a tight coil and put a rubber band around it - the same creasing will occur.
• Do not return the belt in a padded envelope - there's a higher chance of damage from the delivery company.
• (We reserve the right to discount any belt that is returned with excessive handling, such as
  described above, that would force us to discount in order to resell.)

4. There is charge of $8.50 per belt for us to move the personalized nameplate from your belt
to the same belt but in a fitting size. Also, any return shipping costs apply.
